Patient Testimonial
We are so grateful we were able to take care of Debra when she suddenly found herself in the scary situation of not having health insurance.
“Not to have insurance for the first time in my life was very scary and unsettling. I had never been in the position to have to ask for help before. I’d always had insurance. I was a little nervous and not sure what to expect. One of the volunteer nurses at clinic, Beverly, took me aside, prayed for me, and visited with me. I think she could tell I was nervous. She assured me that they would take care of me. It was such a comfort.
I started at Garnett Road Baptist Church Clinic when the Church 3434 Clinic closed. Everyone seems genuinely glad to see the patients and provide them with health services. It is a pleasure to hear from the church members or pastors when they give a brief sermon on reading from the Bible and pray for those present.
It’s truly been a blessing to have doctors write prescriptions to obtain the medications I needed to help control my diabetic condition.
I think my condition has improved through the care I received at Good Samaritan. I’ve qualified for Medicare now and so I won’t be returning to clinic. I am so grateful for the care that I have received. I don’t know what I would have done without these clinics.” – Debra
